Lilydale Neighbourhood Watch

This was our AGM and there was no change made to the Office Bearers except for the Vice President.  The positions are as follows:
President:  David Brown
Vice President: Robyn East
Secretary:  Sue Morris
Treasurer:  Bev McCarthy
Publicity Officer: Lorna Williams
Public Officer: Sue Morris
This meeting was not so well attended as the last one.  We had Troy Walker as our guest speaker and he brought his Belgium shepherd dog, Broadie, with him.  He has a new dog since he was here last and he showed a short video on this breed and what it is
capable of doing.  He showed another video on how Police dogs are of great importance in tracking down and catching criminals in different countries.  Troy works solely with his dog in Security work.  He then did a live demonstration on how his dog attacks and holds a person who is threatening it.  It did not let go of the 'victim' until Troy commanded it to do so.  This was a most interesting demonstration.  Troy's work is Security surveillance for anyone who wants it e.g. schools, businesses, homes, farms etc.  He can be
contacted under "night Shepherds K9", Ph. 63 26 6918.
