Lilydale Village Centre Revitalisation
Progress Report on the Traffic Calming Works

Venarchi Contracting is the contractor appointed by Launceston City Council to upgrade the Main Street of Lilydale.  Brian Cawthen is their Project Manager.

Darren Bracy is their on-site supervisor.  Work has commenced with a programmed completion of early December.   

They will be setting up their 'site office' in the
carparking area of the Pub.

Working hours: 
7.30 am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
There may be some Saturday work.

The Works:
Starts from the Ampol Service Station end and moves gradually to the Lalla Road end.

Disruptions:
There should be no major disruptions but on street parking will be unavailable in the works area.
The contractor will advise you of any unforeseen disruption.
There will be noise - vehicles, machinery and crews will be on site.
There will be speed restrictions in the works area throughout the project.
There are no planned disruptions to any of your
essential services.
