Mary Walsh Centre News

At the centre we are content now that Darian has more time to spend with us.

Darian, our co-ordinator is like a mother hen who gathers her family around her and keeps a watchful eye on them so that no evil befalls them.

On Tuesday there is usually a quiz prepared for us, to occupy our time and to keep our brains working. Sometimes the quizzes are easy and sometimes they are not.

On Thursdays Debbie is there and some craftwork may be done, or we may go on an outing. We had such an outing on the 15th May, when we dined at the Over 50's Club at Ravenswood, before doing some shopping at Mowbray.

We have two new clients at the Centre, which is
pleasing, and we warmly welcome them.

Currently we are pleased to have Feli Withopf to
provide personal care, at the centre, whilst Joan is
having a break.

In our flower gardens the chrysanthemums have been at their best and are popular because they last well when put in a vase of water.
