NEXT MEETING-JULY 10TH at 7.30 p.m. at the Lilydale Fire Station. Annual General Meeting will be on August 14th.
Lilydale Village Green Report Work on the comfort shelter is ongoing and we hope to have the roof on in the next months, with a meeting to be held after that to move forward to the next stage. The fence will be on the bridge abutment by the time you read this report, completing that area. The centre area of the Village Green is looking good and will be able to be used soon.
On to another matter. I have been asked to define how the notice board on the Village Green is to be used, and by whom:
Any group, organisation or individual person may use the notice boards. The boards are to be used to advertise community events of interest to the local Community (free of charge). We advise that notices should be written or placed on the boards no earlier than 10 days before the event or meeting, and should remain in place for no longer than 10 days (please think of other users). It is the responsibility of the group or person who put the notice up to remove the notice after the event or meeting. Please remember that the black boards are to advertise upcoming community events and meetings, and are for all our community to use. Any opinions in the notices are not necessarily the views or opinion of the Launceston City Council, Lilydale Progress Association Inc or members of the Village Green Committee.
