HISTORY PANEL

A small group of enthusiastic members has been working diligently on a major project, a History Panel, which has proved to be quite a challenge. The main obstacle has been to find enough varied and interesting photographs to place on the panel. And, as is often the case, to raise enough money to complete the project. The History Panel will eventually be sited in the Lilydale Township for the interest and enjoyment of locals and tourists.

The panel is being created on a large sheet of cream, powder-coated zincalume, onto which the various regions and past activities of the district will be depicted.

The Lilydale History Group is grateful for the generous support given by the former North Ward Aldermen, the community of Lilydale, and all those who have been generous in so many ways towards the development of the panel.
